Hey everyone, I've been reading through some of the posts here and my heart goes out to Rodney Smith's family and friends. It’s devastating that his case is still unsolved all these years later. One thing that comes to mind is how the area around Virginia Avenue might have changed since 2013. With so much focus on urban development and gentrification in parts of Baltimore, I wonder if those changes have impacted the ability for witnesses to come forward, or if it might offer fresh leads. Sometimes neighborhood dynamics can shift significantly, and knowing how it was back then compared to now might shine a light on potential new insights or witnesses who were not comfortable speaking out at the time. Has anyone looked into how that area has changed or if there are any local initiatives that are working on community safety and crime resolution? It would be reassuring to know that steps are being taken to prevent future tragedies like Rodney's from happening again. Let's keep his memory alive and continue to push for the answers his family and the community deserve. Sending strength and hope to Rodney's loved ones.

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Rodney Smith was found, and how this particular area in Baltimore seemed to be a hotspot for crime back in 2013. Virginia Avenue, and especially alleys like where Rodney was discovered, often become these overlooked parts of the city where tragic events seem to happen under the radar. It’s upsetting to realize how certain parts of our communities can almost become forgotten, only getting attention when something terrible occurs. There must be dozens of stories about residents feeling unsafe or having seen suspicious activities around there. It breaks my heart to consider how those living nearby had to deal with a lingering sense of danger. I wonder if any safety measures were ever taken after Rodney's passing to make the area safer or to help residents feel more secure. These places need just as much care and attention to prevent other families from going through such pain. If anyone knows more about how the community responded afterward or if there have been any improvements, I'd love to hear about them. We owe it to Rodney and others to keep pushing for change. Stay safe, everyone.

Did anyone else notice the lack of security cameras in the area where Rodney Smith was found? I know some other alleys around Baltimore have at least some surveillance, but from what I've read, this part of Virginia Avenue seems like it was a blind spot back in 2013. It makes me wonder if things would have turned out differently if there had been more eyes on the street. Not just for Rodney's case, but maybe for other incidents in that neighborhood. It's tough knowing that his family is still searching for answers and justice after all this time. I hope anyone who might have seen or heard something will come forward, even after all these years. Rodney deserved better, and his family deserves closure.
