Has anyone else looked into the training and response protocols for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office? I'm specifically curious about how JSO handles domestic violence situations. In the case of Anthony Dwayne Harris, it seems like the situation escalated really quickly, leading to a tragic outcome. I wonder if there were steps that could have been taken to de-escalate before it got to that point, especially since his own daughter disputes their version of events. I've read that both officers involved were put on administrative leave after the incident, but does anyone know if there was any additional training or policy review that came out of it? It’s so important that we examine these procedures closely to prevent further tragedies. My heart goes out to Harris's family, especially his children, who were thrust into this nightmare. What a painful ordeal to go through.
