I keep thinking about how this shooting has left such a deep impact on the community. I was reading some of the interviews with Jerome’s family, and it’s so moving to hear his cousin Natasha talk about him. It’s always hard to wrap your head around why something so awful happens to good people. Jerome seemed like one of those guys who tried to do the right thing, and seeing his family in such pain is truly upsetting.
