I've been thinking a lot about Lew Gary Tyree II's case, and I genuinely feel for his family and everyone in that neighborhood who’s trying to make sense of what happened. It’s really troubling to hear about these kinds of incidents, especially when they involve people with military backgrounds. Being a former Navy serviceman, Tyree probably saw and experienced things most of us can’t even imagine. I wonder if there's more to the story about his mental health or if he had been reaching out for help in any way before this tragic incident. The stress of transitioning from military to civilian life is real, and sometimes it feels like there's not enough support for our veterans. It's tough not knowing why things escalated the way they did, but hopefully, the investigation might shed some light on his state of mind leading up to that morning. My thoughts are with his family, especially his kids, during this incredibly difficult time.
