Amy Teresa McHale, 44, was last seen June 13, 2016, after leaving her mother’s home in South Philadelphia. Reports differ on her final movements: some accounts say her mother last saw her that evening, while others place her near Broad and Olney Avenues either late that night or the following day. In the early hours of June 14 she left a voicemail for her daughter saying she was going to her ex-husband’s house; the daughter’s return call went straight to voicemail and Amy has not been heard from since.
Her ex-husband told investigators Amy had been at his home the night of June 13 but was gone when he woke the next morning. Amy is described as a white female, 5 feet to 5 feet 3 inches, 130 to 150 pounds, with light brown to blonde shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. Distinctive tattoos include a butterfly on her right thigh and a rose on her left shoulder; she was last seen in shorts and a tank top and may have had a small purse. The Philadelphia Police Department’s South Detective Division is handling the investigation.
Does anyone have information about Amy’s movements in South Philadelphia or sightings near Broad and Olney on June 13–14, 2016?
