I've been following Eric Jerome Brown's case, and I can't help but feel frustrated by the lack of progress after all these years. His death on East 38th Street was particularly devastating because he was so young and had his whole life ahead of him, and it's troubling that his murder remains unsolved. It seems like the absence of surveillance cameras in that neighborhood hindered the investigation from the start.
I know it's not an easy job for the detectives, given the surge in violence in Baltimore back then, but I really hope that with advancements in forensic technology or maybe someone coming forward with new information, Eric's family can finally get the closure they deserve. I'm sending thoughts to his loved ones during what must be a difficult time as they continue to pursue justice for Eric. Does anyone know if there's been any more public discussion or initiative to set up surveillance in these more vulnerable areas since then?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading up on Eric Jerome Brown’s case, and I can’t stop thinking about how many hurdles his family must be facing right now. It’s incredibly difficult to lose a loved one in such a violent manner, and then to have no clarity or justice only compounds that pain. What really stands out to me is the lack of surveillance cameras in the area where Eric was killed. It just feels like there was a missed opportunity to collect evidence that might have led to answers.
Baltimore's situation back then was a tough one, with the violence reaching alarming levels, but it's frustrating that there weren’t more resources allocated to ensure neighborhoods were better monitored. It makes me wonder what could have been different if there were more preventative measures in place.
To have a young life cut short with no apparent reason and no one held accountable - I can’t imagine what his family is going through. Have there been any efforts or changes since then to increase surveillance or community engagement in those areas? I hope they find some peace and answers soon.
