I’ve been following Anthony Custard’s case since it first happened, and it’s bewildering that there have been no significant leads or arrests years later. I recently read some more about the neighborhood where he was killed, and it’s unsettling how common gun violence was and still is in that area. While it’s easy to get caught up in the grim statistics, we should remember Anthony as a person, not just a number. I came across a post someone shared online where they described how Anthony had this incredible ability to make people laugh even in the toughest situations. It’s devastating to think of that light being extinguished so violently. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who haven’t had the closure they deserve. I can’t even imagine how hard it must be for them, living day in and day out with so many unanswered questions. I hope there’s someone out there who will eventually step forward with information so that Anthony’s family can finally find some peace. Does anyone think law enforcement has made progress lately, or should we be pushing for more public awareness to get this cold case the attention it needs?
