Has anyone else been following the details about how the investigators handled the crime scene in Darius’s case? I’m impressed with Hernando and Pasco County detectives working together so efficiently. It’s such a relief to see law enforcement act quickly, considering they had to deal with a tip and track down the crime scene in a wooded area like the Withlacoochee State Forest. Kudos to them for finding solid evidence and getting a confession out of Brunette. It’s just so sad that it came too late to save Darius. My heart goes out to his family, especially his young sons who will grow up without their dad. Justice may be on its way, but it doesn’t make this loss any less painful for them. Anyone else have thoughts on how this case has developed?
