I’ve been thinking a lot about the aftermath of this tragedy and how Gabriel "Bo" Taylor has managed to cope after such a horrific ordeal. Surviving such a violent event must weigh so heavily on him. It's incredible to me that he managed to escape and live through being shot multiple times. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma and resilience it takes to survive something like that and still carry on. It’s often easy to focus on the immediate victims in such cases, but I'm reminded that even those who survive endure a different kind of suffering. They’ve lost family members in the most violent way, and they have to navigate life with those memories. I hope Gabriel has a strong support system around him. It's just devastating that anyone has to endure this level of grief and trauma. My thoughts are with him and the entire family as they continue to heal from this.
