I've been thinking about James Lee Butler and the terrible loss his family must be feeling. It's absolutely tragic that he lost his life so close to a lively event like the Preakness, where you’d expect people to be enjoying themselves. Belvedere Avenue must have been so busy that day, yet it seems like nobody saw enough to put the pieces together. It's frustrating that despite the crowds, the investigation still hasn't found the closure his loved ones deserve. I can't imagine the anguish his family is enduring, not knowing why this happened to someone they care about so deeply. It's a stark reminder of the issues Baltimore faces with gun violence, and I truly hope for justice for James and for peace in the community.
Hey everyone,
I keep thinking about the location where James Butler was found, and it just breaks my heart. Belvedere Avenue is usually so bustling, especially during the Preakness festivities. I've walked past that area countless times, and it's hard to imagine such a horrific act taking place there amidst all the celebrations. It really makes you think about all the people who might have been there and saw nothing, or maybe didn't realize they saw something.
I’ve been reading about the crime rates during that time in Baltimore, and it's just alarming. The thought that someone's life could be cut short so violently in a place where people are celebrating just doesn't sit right with me. I hope the community can come together to help James's family get the justice they deserve. It's incredibly upsetting that this case isn't closed yet, and my heart goes out to his loved ones who are left without answers.
Let's keep this case in our minds and hearts, hoping that one day we'll see some resolution.
