Has anyone else been following the Tony York case out of Alford, FL? I was reading through some old news articles and noticed that York was known to frequent a few local spots in Jackson County before he disappeared. Some locals mentioned he liked visiting a particular café on Main Street, and there’s been talk about who he’d hang out with there. I wonder if any of the regulars remember seeing him or know if he mentioned leaving town or heading anywhere specific. It’s just curious that he vanished without anyone noticing, especially since it took months for him to be reported missing. It makes me think there's more to the story that hasn't come out yet. Anyone with local insights or thoughts on what might have happened?

we understand maybe he has been at the M.E. office just sitting there... till 2 ladies hit on the Jackson County Doe. On facebook Jackson County Observer

I really hope that is not where he is. If that is him did you notify the M.E. office it might be him so they can involve the investigator?

Hey everyone, I was just going over some older cases because sometimes forgotten details can pop up, and Tony York’s situation got my attention again. Does anyone else think it’s strange that Tony’s disappearance wasn’t reported until several months after he was last seen? I know he was reported missing by an extended relative, but I wonder why it took so long. Could it be that whoever reported him assumed he was just off on his own for a while, and it wasn’t until much later that they realized something might be seriously wrong? Or maybe they were out of touch with him for other reasons? I think understanding why there was such a delay might help piece together those missing months. Would love to hear any thoughts or insights you all might have!
Hey everyone, I've been following Tony York's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the delayed report of his disappearance. It's curious that he wasn't reported missing until nearly six months after he vanished. I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on why there might have been such a gap? It could be due to a strained relationship with family, or maybe he often dropped out of contact and it wasn't unusual at first. Regardless, it's a reminder of how quickly time can slip by in these situations, and why it's crucial for family and friends to speak up sooner rather than later. Any insights or similar experiences you've come across would be really appreciated!
