Has anyone else been keeping up with the Barron McCree case? I was reading about his tragic death, and one thing that's really been puzzling me is the situation with the surveillance cameras near the crime scene. It's frustrating to think that there could be key footage out there that remains unseen or hasn't been useful enough for solving the case. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must feel not having answers all these years later. Baltimore has so many unsolved cases, and it makes you wonder how much more could be done to utilize available technology in these investigations. ? Anyone have thoughts or insight on this? Would love to hear more about how surveillance footage is typically handled in such scenarios.
I've been following Barron Lee McCree's case closely and something that's been on my mind is the surveillance cameras that were reportedly nearby. It's incredibly frustrating when we hear about the presence of cameras but then nothing further is mentioned about whether they captured anything useful. In a neighborhood like the 1800 block of North Fulton Street, where violence has unfortunately been an issue, you would think there would be more coordinated efforts to use and review such footage. I genuinely hope there are ongoing attempts to see if these cameras caught any leads. It just seems like any small bit of evidence could make a huge difference in cases like this. My thoughts are with Barron's loved ones as they navigate this painful journey for justice. I can only imagine how tough it's been for them all these years. Has anyone heard if there's been any recent push to revisit the footage or check if any nearby businesses might have had additional cameras?
