Has anyone else been following the Dale Jay Webb case from 2014? It’s so saddening to think about all the loved ones affected by these senseless acts of violence in Baltimore during that time. I’ve been reading up on the area and, from what I understand, the Southwestern District was particularly hard-hit by the uptick in crimes. It must have been an incredibly stressful and frightening time for everyone living there. I can't imagine how challenging it must have been for the police trying to piece together so many cases when the violence seemed so chaotic and random. Does anyone know if there were any community initiatives that actually made a difference that year? It seems like it would have taken a huge collaborative effort to even begin addressing the depth of the issue. My heart really goes out to all the families affected, including Dale’s. Any insights or thoughts on how the community and police ended up handling things would be appreciated!
