I've been following the case of Vincent Edgar DiPina, and something that really perplexes me is the absence of witness accounts. Given there were over 100 people at Kay's Lounge that night, I find it so difficult to believe that not a single person has been able to come forward with useful information. It’s truly puzzling and disheartening. Understandingly, fear might be a factor in people staying silent, especially if the shooter(s) had ties to dangerous individuals. But it’s been years, and I imagine the sense of urgency and desperation felt by Vincent's family intensifies as time passes without any closure or justice. I wonder if there's a reason people aren't talking. Could it be fear of retaliation, or maybe people just aren't sure what they saw amid the chaos? Whatever the reason, I can't help but feel for Vincent's family and friends who must still be waiting for answers, hoping that one day someone will have the courage to speak up and help bring some resolution to this case.
