Has anyone else been following how the layout of Joseph L. Phillips' apartment might have played a role in the initial confusion at the crime scene? I read that the setup made it hard for investigators to immediately determine the series of events or how the intruder entered or exited. It’s such a difficult situation for the family, not knowing the details in those early days must have been devastating.
