I can't stop thinking about Willie Womack's case and how his family must feel. It's deeply unnerving that someone can be taken away so violently and yet the case remains unsolved. The lack of witnesses or leads is so frustrating—it's like there's an invisible wall preventing progress. Baltimore's violence in 2014 was off the charts, and I remember seeing the news about yet another person falling victim to senseless crime. You'd think with modern technology and forensic advancements, cases like this would be easier to solve, but without the community stepping up, it seems like a daunting task. If only people felt safer or more empowered to come forward with information... maybe we'd have more justice for victims like Willie. My thoughts are with his loved ones, who must wait with heavy hearts, hoping for some breakthrough that could bring them peace.
