Hi everyone,
This case is so disturbing, and I can’t stop thinking about how Manuel’s life was senselessly taken. One part that really stands out to me is the involvement of such young people in this crime. It’s shocking, and honestly, really concerning. It makes me wonder about the circumstances surrounding these teenagers. How do they get to a point where they’re involved in something so horrific at such a young age?
I know that adolescence can be a tumultuous time, but to spiral into this level of violence, it’s truly alarming. What kind of environment or influences led to their decisions? It breaks my heart to think about Manuel trusting these individuals, only to be betrayed in such a cruel way. I just hope we can unravel more about why this happened and how to prevent something similar in the future.

I've been following Manuel Galindo Oquendo's case, and I can't wrap my head around it. It's just so tragic to see young lives like Kinchen and Vela-Mendez get involved in something so senselessly violent. From what I've read, Manuel was just trying to manage his life after his injury, moving his personal belongings, likely thinking of the next steps to improve his situation. It's chilling how these teens saw him as a target rather than a fellow human being trying to get by. And to think that Kayla Jordan, so young with her whole life ahead, ended up as an accessory in this horrific crime. My thoughts truly go out to Manuel’s family, especially his mother Daisy, who must still be grappling with the magnitude of her loss and the brutal way it happened. This entire ordeal is another stark reminder of how quickly plans can turn fatal and how tragic the ripple effects are for everyone involved.
