I've been following Freda Knowshisgun's case for a while, and something that puzzles me is the group of new acquaintances she made in Billings. Isn't it odd that they're uncooperative with law enforcement? Considering she was last in touch with them, this angle definitely deserves a harder look. Has anyone heard if they've re-interviewed those people? I feel like if we knew more about that group, we might get more insight into Freda's situation. Nosey here, and I'm wondering if other folks find that part of the case sketchy too? Just seems like a huge missing piece to the puzzle if you ask me.
Has anyone looked into the group Freda was hanging out with before she disappeared? It's hard not to wonder if they might have more information than they've shared. I know that sometimes new friendships can be risky, especially if she was dealing with substance issues and pulling away from her family. If anyone here knows someone who might have seen her in Billings or during that time, it might be worth trying to get them to come forward with any info, no matter how small it seems. The family's effort to raise awareness is crucial, not just for Freda, but for the many missing Indigenous women who deserve justice and to be found. Let's keep this thread going with any updates or new leads!
