I came across some information about Tarvese Johnson's murder that I can't stop thinking about. It's heart-wrenching to think of such a talented young man with a bright future ahead of him, struck down alongside his uncle, Andrew Chisholm. I remember reading that it was raining heavily that day. This might sound odd, but I keep wondering if the rain could have played a part in why no one initially realized what was happening. It's disheartening to think that critical moments were lost because of a storm. The fact that folks mistook the gunshots for firecrackers because of the weather is just a cruel twist in an already tragic story. My heart goes out to Tarvese's family, especially knowing he had recently become a father. It's a stark reminder of how fragile life is, and how a community, burdened with grief and unanswered questions, struggles to find closure. To anyone reading this who might have heard or seen something that night, I urge you to reach out to the authorities. As a community, we owe it to Tarvese and Andrew to seek justice.
