I've been thinking about how rough this must be for Leeshawn Sutton. I can't imagine the pain of losing a close friend in such a tragic way, let alone being the one who accidentally caused it. The moment he realized the mistake must be haunting him. In these forums, we mostly talk about the victims, rightly so, but the ones left dealing with the aftermath deserve our empathy too. Mistakes happen, and it’s heartbreaking to see how one split second can change lives forever. I hope Sutton is getting the support he needs to cope with such a heavy burden. Anyone else have thoughts on how the community can come together to help someone in his shoes?

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the tragic situation with Bruce Best and I can’t help but think about the challenges emergency services faced in locating the scene. It sounds like such a remote and difficult-to-reach spot. Has anyone else considered how this might have delayed the medical response? It must have been so terrifying for Sutton, knowing his friend was gravely injured and help was struggling to reach them. I’ve read about cases where faster access could have made a difference, and even though it sounds like Bruce’s injuries were severe, it makes me wonder about the impact of response times in similar incidents. It’s just so devastating to think of all those variables at play in such a tragic accident. My heart goes out to Bruce's family and friends who are undoubtedly still grappling with this loss. Does anyone know if there have been discussions about improving emergency response in remote areas since this happened? It’d be comforting to think some good could come from such a sad event.
