Hey everyone, I've been following Ryan Aubol's case and something has been bugging me. I keep coming back to that morning at the Skamania County Sheriff's Office. His story about not remembering who he was seems so strange, especially considering he drove all the way from Portland to Stevenson. Has anyone looked into whether there could have been some kind of head injury or medical condition going on that caused his confusion? It just seems like there has to be more to that part of the story. Could it have been a fugue state or something similar? It might explain his behavior and why he later took such drastic actions. I hope there's a way to shed more light on what he was experiencing that day. Thoughts?
I've been following Ryan Wesley Aubol's case for a while, and one thing that really puzzles me is the fact that he showed up at the sheriff's office that day. Showing up there while disoriented is definitely unusual. Was it just a random place he ended up by chance, or could there have been a specific reason he chose the sheriff's office in Stevenson? Maybe he felt like he was in some kind of danger that we don't know about? It just seems significant, especially since it was the last place where anyone spoke to him before everything unfolded on the Interstate 5 Bridge. Anyone have thoughts or ideas about this?
