I was reading about the tragic case of Frank Leroy Freeman and it got me thinking about the lack of lighting in that specific area near Capen and West Comstock. Has anyone else considered how the poor street lighting could have played a role in this tragic event? I can't help but wonder if better visibility might have deterred such a crime or at least provided better leads for investigators by helping witnesses come forward. I really feel for the families of Frank and Jordan; not only are they dealing with such a tragic loss, but also with the frustration of an unsolved case. If nothing else, maybe this incident can spark a conversation about improving public safety measures in Winter Park. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
