I came across this case recently and it's been on my mind a lot. It's so tragic when lives are taken by someone they trusted. I feel so deeply for Lisette Iglesias’s family, especially her son who had to find them. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain he's going through. Neighbors in areas like Southwest Miami-Dade often feel like one big family, and something like this shakes everyone to the core. One thing that baffles me is there weren't any signs of struggle or forced entry. It makes you wonder about the dynamics many people face behind closed doors that we don’t see. It’s a devastating reminder of how domestic violence can be silent, without obvious red flags for outsiders. Supporting and listening to friends and family members about their struggles might prevent future tragedies. But still, it leaves such a troubling imprint on a community. I just hope that anyone else suffering in silence finds the help they need before it's too late.

I can't help but think about how the family of Lisette Iglesias is dealing with this immense loss. It's beyond words to lose a loved one in such a violent way, and then on top of that, to have it be caused by someone they were so close to must be incredibly difficult for them to process. It raises so many questions about what might have been going on behind closed doors. The lack of any prior warning signs or reports about domestic issues is puzzling. Were there really no indicators, or did they just go unnoticed? It makes me wonder how we, as a community, can better support each other to notice and respond to these situations before they escalate. My heart truly goes out to Lisette's family and friends, and I hope they find some peace and support as they navigate through this tragedy.
