I recently came across the tragic story of Gilbert Oosthuzian and felt compelled to share my thoughts. The role that media played in finally bringing justice to this case is just mind-blowing. After years of uncertainty for Gilbert's family, it was an NBC report that reignited interest and eventually led to someone stepping forward with critical information. It's a somber reminder of the power and reach of media when it comes to helping solve cold cases. While nothing can undo the pain caused by this senseless act, I hope Gilbert's family can find some solace in knowing that there's been progress. Sharing information and keeping such cases in the public eye can truly make a difference. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.
