I've been following the case of James Smith, and it's so frustrating to think about the challenges his family faces without justice or closure. The reluctance of witnesses to come forward is understandable, given the fear of retaliation in such a high-crime area. It makes me wonder what can be done to make these neighborhoods safer or to encourage people to share what they know without putting themselves at risk. The cycle of violence won't end unless something changes, but how? My heart goes out to those who loved him and are left searching for answers. Have there been any updates on community efforts or initiatives to address this issue, especially after the spikes in 2015?
