I can't help but think about the bravery of Stanley Almodovar III. He was just 23, with so much life ahead of him, yet he spent his last moments enjoying the company of his friends at Pulse Nightclub. I've read stories from that night about how people were trying to get out or hide, and it gets me every time thinking about the fear and chaos they must have felt. It’s a powerful reminder of how resilient the victims were, even faced with such terror. Stanley’s spirit and the love his friends and family had for him show how deeply he touched the lives around him. It's amazing to see Clermont recognize his memory with Stanley Almodovar III Day. It’s so important that we continue to honor and remember the victims, not just for how they died, but for how they lived and the joy they brought to others. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
