Has anyone else been thinking about Joel Rayon Paniagua and the incredible sense of community he had? It's so touching to hear how he left his home in Veracruz to work hard and support his family from afar. It’s evident that he had such a generous spirit, always trying to make things better for those around him. Friends described him as humble, but he really seems like a hero to me, always putting others first. I often find myself wondering how experiences like his contribute to the fabric of communities, both where he lived and back home. Even though I never met Joel, I can imagine the big smile he must have had when dancing or spending time with friends. It’s heartbreaking that his life was cut short in such a senseless way, especially while he was just trying to enjoy a night out with friends. Does anyone know if his family has set up any memorial initiatives in his honor? It would be great to support them or at least keep his legacy alive somehow. Thoughts or ideas from those who knew him or have been following similar stories?
