I’ve been thinking a lot about Angel Louis Candelario-Padro and his vibrant spirit that was tragically taken from us on that dreadful night at Pulse. It’s devastating to realize how he was on the cusp of starting a new chapter in his life, ready to make Orlando his new home and dive into his career at the Florida Retina Institute. To those who knew and loved him, I can only imagine how hard it is to lose someone so full of life and promise. What strikes me is his passion for dancing and fitness, and how these joyful aspects of his life are now part of the legacy he leaves behind. He was known to be such a kind and vivacious individual, which makes it even more painful knowing he was enjoying a night out with loved ones, just celebrating life and love. It's truly unfair how that was snatched away in such a senseless act. I hope that Angel's spirit inspires us to embrace kindness and joy in our own lives, just as he did. If anyone here would like to share more about Angel, his life, or any memories, I think it’s important we continue to honor him and all the victims by keeping their stories alive. Angel and everyone affected that night deserve nothing less.
