I was reading about the case of Teryus Garmon recently and it really got me thinking about the broader impact of gun violence on the community, especially considering how young Teryus and Lee Nelson were. It's tragic to see promising young lives cut short, and it seems like the aftermath of something like this leaves such a deep wound on everyone involved, from the families to the wider community. I can't imagine the heartache their families must feel, having to push on every day without them. It's incredible to see how they've channeled their grief into action, participating in vigils and rallies to raise their voices against violence. It's a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of those who refuse to let these tragedies be forgotten. How can we better support families like theirs in their pursuit of justice and healing? It feels like there has to be more we can do collectively. Thoughts?
