I've been following the tragic case of Stacy Marie Williams and can't help but think about the impact this has had on the Brownsdale community. It's hard to grasp how something so unimaginable could happen so close to home. One thing that really struck me is how the neighbors must be feeling. For the kids to have run to a neighbor's house, it makes me think about the incredible shock and responsibility that was suddenly thrust upon them. I really hope those neighbors are getting the support they need too, as they process such a traumatic event. Just knowing that the community has rallied together with prayers and support for the children is both heartwarming and a testament to the resilience we can show in the face of tragedy. Has anyone heard if there are plans for a community gathering or vigil to honor Stacy and the children affected? Sometimes coming together can help everyone start to heal a little.
