Does anyone else feel frustrated about how many unsolved cases there are in Baltimore? Kevin Hill's murder deserved so much more attention and it's heartbreaking that his family still has no answers. I read that the police had a tough time gathering leads because of a lack of cooperation from witnesses. I completely understand the fear people must feel, but I can't help but think about how justice for Kevin might bring a bit of peace to those who knew and loved him. I've seen community leaders talk about coming together to combat the violence, but how do we inspire people to come forward? It's just so disheartening to see another young life lost to senseless violence, and these families have to move forward without the closure they need. Thoughts on how communities might encourage more people to speak up?

I’ve been following the case of Kevin Shawn Hill, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. What stands out to me is the difficulty the police faced in gathering leads due to limited witness cooperation. It's understandable why people might be hesitant to come forward, given the fear of retaliation, but this unfortunately stymies justice for victims like Kevin. I wonder if there are any community programs or initiatives in Baltimore aimed at building trust between residents and law enforcement? Strengthening this relationship could potentially encourage more people to speak up and help prevent further tragedies. If anyone knows of efforts in that direction or has ideas about what could be done to improve this situation, please share. Kevin, and others like him, deserve justice and a voice even after they're gone.

Just been reflecting on Kevin Shawn Hill's case and I'm struck by the lack of cooperation from potential witnesses. I get that fear can be a huge factor, especially in an area with as much violence as Flowerton Road had seen, but it's just so frustrating knowing that more people might have answers or details that could bring some clarity or justice to his family. Kevin was only 19, and to think his life was stolen so abruptly is just tragic. It's really crucial for community members to come together and work with law enforcement to try and curb this violence. What do you guys think would help encourage witnesses to come forward in cases like this? How can communities better support each other to make their neighborhoods safer?
