I've been thinking a lot about young Skyler Ortt lately, and I can't even begin to imagine the kind of trauma and confusion he's going through after losing his mom in such a horrible way. Having a mother like Brianne, so active and beloved in the community, must have been a special experience for Skyler. It's so heartbreaking when a young child has to grow up without their parent. I hope that the community and family can rally around him, offering love and support as he processes this loss. It's these innocent ones left behind who often bear the quiet burden of such tragedies. If anyone knows of any funds or charities set up to help Skyler, please share—I’d love to contribute and spread the word.
I recently came across the case of Brianne Ortt and Samuel Martin, and I've been reflecting on how trauma impacts everyone involved. It’s beyond my understanding how someone could harm a person who is so loved by their community. Brianne, as a youth minister, touched many lives, especially young ones through her work at Sanlando United Methodist Church. It's devastating to think about how her loss has affected those she mentored and her son, Skyler. I wish there were more resources for communities to heal from such tragedies. The strength of Brianne’s family and friends in the wake of this tragedy is inspirational, and I’m hoping they find peace with time. Sending love to everyone who knew her. Just feeling the need to express support for those grieving such an unimaginable loss. ?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of community in times like these. Brianne Ortt wasn’t just another name in the headlines; she was a pillar in our local church and dedicated her life to enriching the lives of children. The ripple effect of her loss is enormous. I'm touched by how the community has come together to support each other and celebrate her life. I remember seeing Brianne organizing events and always having time for everyone, no matter how busy she was. She had such a unique ability to make people feel seen and heard. It’s moments like these where we see the importance of community coming together to share stories, lift each other up, and keep her spirit alive. It’s a reminder of how vital empathy and togetherness are, especially for her son, Skyler. Sending thoughts and prayers to all who loved her. ?
