I came across Carter Williams' case recently and can't help but feel a deep sense of empathy for his family. Losing someone under such tragic circumstances and then having to endure the agony of an unresolved case is truly unimaginable. It seems like 2015 was such a difficult year for Oakland, with so many families facing similar heartbreaks. I've read that the community and law enforcement were both overwhelmed at the time. It's frustrating to think that there were probably people out there who saw something or might know something but haven’t come forward. I really hope someone eventually speaks up or that new evidence comes to light. Carter, and all the other victims from that year, deserve justice and peace. It's a stark reminder of the broader challenges our communities face with violence and the need for collective efforts towards solutions. Sending strength and support to his family and friends.

Has anyone else been following the impact of the lack of resources on the investigation into Carter Williams’ murder? It’s incredibly frustrating to think about how many cases like his remain unsolved because of understaffing and insufficient resources. In 2015, Oakland was really struggling with these issues, and it makes me wonder how much this has affected the ability to solve cases like Carter's. His family deserves answers, and it just seems so unfair that they might not get them because of something like funding. The community needs to see justice served—not just for Carter—but for all the victims whose stories are waiting to be heard and whose families are waiting for closure. I really hope these systemic issues are being addressed. Anyone know of any updates or community efforts that might be pushing for change?
