I've been following the Roland Orrison case, and one aspect that really grabs my attention is the location where his body was found. The Banana River is known to locals for its serenity and beauty, making it so unsettling to think that something so violent would happen in such a peaceful spot. I can't help but wonder if the choice of location was premeditated or just convenient. Did Herr frequent this area, given its reputation among fishermen and hunters? It seems like a strategic move to attempt to make the scene appear accidental, especially since Orrison was found on a rubber raft. My heart goes out to Roland's family and friends who are dealing with this senseless loss. It's chilling to think about how this investigation unfolded with the initial discovery by a helicopter crew. Such a beautiful place being tainted with this tragedy is truly disconcerting.
Did anyone else notice the timing and location of the find? Orrison's body was discovered by a sheriff's office helicopter during what was said to be a "routine flyover." I've been wondering if this so-called routine check was an established practice or if they were already looking for someone or something due to an earlier tip-off. Could it be they had an inkling something suspicious was going down in that area around the river?
It's hard not to feel for Roland's family, knowing his death was labeled suspicious right from the get-go. It's tough to imagine the shock of expecting him to be safe and learning in such a horrible way that things went wrong. I'm curious about the exact nature of his initial meeting with Herr. Could it have been innocent enough in the beginning before things spiraled out of control? Such an awful thing to happen over a business disagreement.
