Does anyone else feel that Byron's case points to deeper systemic issues in Baltimore? It’s so tragic that we're even discussing cases like his, where individuals are caught in the crossfire of a city struggling with so much violence. My heart goes out to Byron’s family and friends who have to carry this every day. I can’t help but wonder why some of these neighborhoods still lack the support they need to thrive safely. Does anyone have thoughts on what needs to change to prevent tragedies like this from continuing? It just feels like the system has to do more than just react after the fact. Would love to hear thoughts from those with more insight into city policies or community efforts.
