Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Jose Armando Alonzo-Lopez? I’ve been thinking a lot about the night of the incident at El Paisano Bar. It’s unimaginable what his friends and family must be going through right now. They celebrated Christmas just a day before and then had to face this devastating news. I came across a few articles that reported deputies arrived only minutes after the shooting was reported—just shows how quickly things can change in an instant. It’s so concerning that Valdovinos-Aguirre managed to slip away despite the swift response from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Does anyone know if there have been any recent community efforts or vigils in remembrance of Alonzo-Lopez? In such difficult times, it’s important for the community to come together and support those who were close to him. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this painful journey.
