I recently came across the case of Robert Brewer and I can't shake off how deeply disturbing it is. I've been particularly struck by the role that Rosanna DiMauro played in all of this. It's hard to imagine being in a situation where you'd help clean up after such a horrific act. I keep wondering what would drive someone to make the choices she did. She was sentenced to 10 years, but I can't help thinking of the weight that decision must carry, knowing she contributed to covering up such a violent crime. My thoughts go out to Robert's family. They deserve every measure of peace they can find after such a tragic loss.
