I can't stop thinking about the role of trust in Avery Wheeler's murder case. It's terrifying to think that someone he knew, like Allex Cuentas, was behind such a horrific act. How many of us have invited friends or acquaintances into our homes, never thinking it could end in tragedy? Avery's friends and family must be grappling with an immense sense of betrayal on top of their grief. This case is a chilling reminder that sometimes the people we think we know can have hidden motives. My heart goes out to Avery's loved ones as they deal with this complex and painful loss. I hope they find strength and support from the community in Edgewood as the investigation continues.
