Has anyone else been following the case of Robert Engleton? It's just so incredibly sad how someone so young and full of potential was taken from us. What's been on my mind is the role of the community in trying to piece together what happened that night. It’s frustrating that despite the efforts to gather surveillance footage, there seem to be no solid leads. Miami-Dade police are doing what they can, but it's like Robert’s case got lost in the shuffle. I can’t imagine the frustration his family must feel every day. They deserve to know what happened to him, to have some kind of closure.
I was really moved by the efforts of Romania Dukes and her organization, Mothers Fighting for Justice. Seeing someone who has gone through such a loss herself stepping up and being proactive is truly inspiring. It reminds me that this is more than just one family's tragedy—it’s a call for all of us to support one another and push for change. The $3,000 reward for information is critical, but we need people courageous enough to speak up. If anyone knows even the smallest detail, it could be the missing piece to solving this puzzle. Let's keep Robert in our thoughts and do what we can to help his family find justice. If you hear anything or have any ideas on how we can keep this case in the public eye, let's discuss it. The more attention we bring, the better chance we have of preventing this kind of violence in the future.
Anyone else thinking about the significance of that phone call Robert received before his death? It seems so strange and sad that a simple call could have led him into such a dangerous situation. If he really was lured there, it makes you wonder who was behind it and why. His cousin Darrell said that he might have been set up, which adds a chilling twist to everything. It's so frustrating knowing someone out there might have information that could bring some justice to his family. Every time I think about his cousin's comments, it just reminds me of how easily something mundane can turn tragic. Praying for the family and hoping the investigation gets a breakthrough soon.
