I wanted to share my thoughts on something that’s been bothering me about Rodney Chisholm's case. It's just so sad how someone could do something so violent and then just vanish without a trace. Not just for Rodney, who lost his life in such a sudden and brutal way, but for his family who has to live with this unresolved pain. I remember reading that the shooter just walked up to him and opened fire, like Rodney’s life meant nothing. It's hard to wrap my head around that level of callousness.
What struck me about this case, beyond the tragedy of Rodney’s death, was how the community came together. People who knew him described him as a solid guy, which makes this all the more baffling. It's like, if someone like Rodney could be targeted, what does that mean for everyone else? The fact that this happened right in front of his home is so unsettling. Isn't home supposed to be a safe place?
I'm really hoping the detectives keep pushing forward. It’s important not just for closure for Rodney’s family, but for the community to know that these things can’t just go unanswered. We need to keep talking about this so it doesn't get forgotten, and so that his family gets the justice they deserve. Does anyone know if there have been any recent updates on the investigation?
