In reading about the tragic loss of Jason Giles, my heart goes out to his family, especially knowing this happened right before the holidays. One detail that catches my attention is the disappearance of the firearm used in the shooting. How does something like that just vanish at a crime scene with responding officers around? It seems odd and raises so many questions. It makes you wonder if there's more to the story or if there's negligence involved. The whole situation is incredibly sad, and I hope the truth comes to light for Jason's family’s sake. Thoughts and prayers go out to them. Anyone else have more info on what’s being done to find the missing weapon?
