Hey everyone, Just wanted to share some thoughts I had after revisiting Richard William Moss's case. It's always struck me how Devil's Slide seems to live up to its name. I've read that it's such a treacherous stretch of road along Highway 1. Seeing incidents like Richard's really makes me wonder why more isn't being done about it. I know his family has been pushing for guardrails, and it's surprising that something so basic isn't in place yet. Do any locals know if there have been any updates on road safety improvements in that area? Considering the danger, I can't imagine there haven’t been more accidents. It feels like these tragic events don't get as much attention until it's too late, and I sincerely hope the push for safety measures gains traction. Maybe this could help prevent future families from facing such situations. Would appreciate any insights! Stay safe out there, especially if you're driving around those risky areas.

Has anyone looked into the history of accidents at Devil's Slide? It seems like Richard Moss’s case isn’t an isolated incident. For a road with such a dangerous reputation, you'd think more preventive measures would be in place by now. I’m definitely supporting his family’s push for guardrails. I wonder how many other incidents have occurred there that might not have gotten much attention. Maybe gathering data on past accidents could bolster the case for road safety improvements in that area. Anyone else have info or thoughts on this?
