I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Donna and William Ranson. It's just so hard to believe something like this could happen in such a close-knit community. I didn't know them personally, but I've heard from friends in Lakewood Village that the Ransons were lovely people. Donna was apparently known for her crocheting, often gifting her handmade pieces to neighbors and friends. It's just devastating to think that a couple who shared so many peaceful years together could end in such a tragic way. My heart goes out to their family, especially their daughter, Vicki. I can’t even imagine the pain and confusion she’s going through. It's comforting, at least, to know that the community is rallying around them during this incredibly difficult time.

I can't stop thinking about how the Ransons had been through so much together, especially with losing their home to Hurricane Charley. After enduring such a catastrophe, to think they were able to find peace and build a life again in Vero Beach is both comforting and tragic. It seems they had a close-knit community at Lakewood Village, and their love for travel must have brought them countless memories. They had been to all 50 states; imagine the stories they could tell! It's just so sad that things came to such a heartbreaking end. I keep wondering if there were signs that their health struggles were affecting their state of mind. Maybe the flu exacerbated things more than anyone could have guessed. My heart goes out to their daughter Vicki and the rest of the family. I hope they find solace in the many happy memories shared before this tragedy. It reminds me how unexpectedly life can change and the importance of looking out for our loved ones, especially as they age. Rest in peace, Donna and William.

I just came across the case of Donna and William Ranson, and I've been thinking about the impact their passing must have had on their community in Lakewood Village RV. It sounds like they were a well-loved couple who really enjoyed their retired life together in Vero Beach. I can't imagine the shockwaves that must have rippled through their community after this tragedy. Given how close-knit RV communities can be, it's sad to think about the void they left behind. They were there for over a decade—must have had strong friendships and bonds with their neighbors. For those who knew them, it must be incredibly hard. I hope their friends and community have found some way to celebrate the good memories and the kindness the Ransons undoubtedly spread in their lives. Thoughts go out to all who were touched by their presence. Would love to know how the community is coping now, if anyone is from the area.
