I was thinking about how Jayton actually managed to make it to the IHOP after being shot. It's truly astounding and a testament to his willpower. I feel for the employees and patrons who were there that morning, too. It must have been incredibly traumatic to witness something so horrific. But in a way, Jayton’s strength in those final moments helped identify who was responsible, and that’s crucial. It’s a somber reminder of the importance of community in these investigations. My heart goes out to Jayton’s loved ones—they lost someone so important to senseless violence. May we hope for more awareness and community cooperation to prevent future tragedies like this.
