I was just going through some old articles and came across the case of Carol McHugh again. Can't help but wonder about the safety of the Seven Lakes area now compared to back then. I mean, a 72-year-old woman with dementia goes missing during a walk, and no clues at all? Makes me uneasy thinking this could happen anywhere. Does anyone here know if the community has taken any steps to improve safety or aid residents with memory issues since Carol disappeared? Maybe other communities could learn from it, whatever the outcome may be. Thoughts?

I've been reading about Carol McHugh's case, and something's been bothering me. Has anyone looked into the wildlife activity in the area around the time she went missing? I know from personal experience that the wildlife in Florida can be quite a challenge, especially for someone who's lost or confused. It's a long shot, but could animals have inadvertently interfered with any clues or evidence? I haven't seen this angle really discussed, but it might be worth exploring. Thoughts?

I was reading about Carol McHugh's disappearance again, and something caught my attention. Her neighborhood, Seven Lakes, seems like a tight-knit community from what I've gathered. Does anyone know if other locals reported anything unusual around the time Carol went missing? Like people they didn't recognize or odd activity in the area? Sometimes these seemingly small details can make a big difference in cases like these. It's just baffling how there hasn't been a single lead all these years. Maybe revisiting neighborhood activities or events from that time could shed some new light? Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has local insight!
