Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Pearlie Mae Thomas? It's truly devastating what her family is going through. I was reading up on the trial, and one thing that stood out to me was the actions of Corp. Alan Hewett. I can’t even imagine the pressure he must have been under when Malcolm fired at him while he was guarding the crime scene. It’s fortunate that Hewett wasn't injured in the line of duty, but it shows how unpredictable and dangerous these situations can be. My heart goes out to everyone involved, especially Pearlie’s husband, Lee Andrew Thomas, who's left to pick up the pieces. It's a sobering reminder of how quickly emotions can spiral out of control and lead to irreversible tragedy. What do you all think might result from these charges against Malcolm, given his past criminal record?
