Just thinking about how tangled everything in this case got. I read about the arrest of Raymond Diaz, and it made me pause. It's almost as if Melissa's tragedy was just the tip of this grim iceberg. I can't shake the feeling that the network of violence here is wider than we know. It makes me wonder about the connections between everyone involved and what people on the periphery might know but can't or won't say. I really feel for Melissa's family—having to navigate all of this uncertainty on top of their grief must be unimaginable. Even though there's been some closure, questions still linger, and I hope they find the answers they're seeking.
