Does anyone else find it strange that the house door was left ajar? If Monquavia knew her assailant, wouldn’t that person close the door to avoid drawing attention? Maybe the open door was just a mistake, but it might also suggest that the assailant left in a hurry. It’s heartbreaking that this tragedy happened and that her family is left with so many unanswered questions. I hope someone out there has the courage to come forward with information. My thoughts are with Monquavia’s loved ones. ?

I’ve been thinking about the role of community safety and how it plays into cases like Monquavia's. It’s chilling to think that someone could do something so terrible to her in what should have been the safety of her own home. It makes me wonder about the importance of knowing our neighbors and keeping an eye out for each other. If someone had noticed anything unusual in the area that day, maybe it could have helped. I can’t even begin to imagine what her family is going through, especially knowing that someone may have specifically targeted her. It’s so important that we stay vigilant and supportive of one another, especially when tragedies like this happen. My heart goes out to everyone who knew her. Please, if anyone recalls anything odd or suspicious from around that time, reach out to the authorities. Every piece of information could be crucial.
