Has anyone else been following the details surrounding Ruby Steplight’s murder? It’s incredibly tough to wrap my head around the whole situation, especially considering the impact it must have had on her family. I can't even imagine the pain her granddaughter must be going through, not only being injured in such a terrifying way but also losing her grandmother so suddenly. The thought that Billy Desrosiers could have hurt her as well but chose not to is chilling. Ruby sounded like such a wonderful person—being described as the "glue" of her family speaks volumes. Her home should have been a safe haven, not the scene of something so horrific. My thoughts are with Ruby’s family as they navigate through this devastating time. Events like the candlelight vigil are important as they keep Ruby’s selfless spirit alive and remind us all of the senseless nature of violence.
