I just can’t shake the feeling that justice wasn't fully served in the case of Osvaldo Gomez-Alberto and Daniel Del Valle. It's hard to imagine the pain their families must be going through, especially knowing that Raymond Diaz Jr. ended up with a plea deal. Ten years for two lives seems like such a small price, doesn't it? I understand that legal proceedings can be complicated, and sometimes deals are made for reasons that those outside the case can't fully grasp. But it's just a tough pill to swallow. What's been on my mind is the apartment building where the crash happened. I read that the car crashed into a first-floor unit. Can you imagine being a resident there, waking up to that horrific scene? I wonder if the building's residents have had any support or counseling made available to them after experiencing something so shocking. Emergency responders too—how must they feel dealing with such a scene? It’s not just the families directly affected; events like this have ripples that touch so many lives. Keeping everyone involved in my thoughts.
